Terms & Conditions


Performer Rights: If at any time a performer feels that he/she is in a hostile, unsafe, hazardous, otherwise unacceptable environment, that performer has the right leave with full compensation from the client. The performer also has the right to refuse to services if the client is negligent, absent, disrespectful, and/or inebriated or under the influence of any foreign substance.


Safety: An adult must be present in the same area as the character and children throughout the entire event. Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the performance and activities!

Performer Requests: We do our best to comply with requests for specific performers to portray any character. However, we cannot always guarantee that a particular performer will be available. Thank you for understanding. 


Booking a Party: In order to secure your party date, time, and character, we require a deposit. Your date is not guaranteed until your deposit has been received. You will receive your deposit request via email.  Your deposit must be received within 48 hours or your party date and time will be released to the next client.


Final Balance: Your remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event.  For example, if your event is on a Saturday, the remaining balance must be paid by the Thursday before.  An invoice will be sent via email.


Gratuity: Tips for our performers are not included in the price of the party.  Gratuity is never required but always appreciated, should you wish to reward our performers for their excellent service. 


Cancellations & Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable. If rescheduling is needed, we will work with you to determine an alternate date for your party.  While extremely unlikely, we reserve the right to cancel any appearance due to injury of the performer or the performer’s family. In this case, the booking deposit will be put towards a new available event date.


​Travel Fees: We serve the San Diego Area in California!  We travel toBankers Hill, Bonita, Cardiff, Carlsbad, Carmel Valley, Chula Vista, Clairemont, College Area, Coronado, Del Mar, Del Sur, Downtown, Eastlake, El Cajon, Encinitas, Escondido, 4S Ranch, Hillcrest, Imperial Beach ,Kearny Mesa, La Jolla, La Mesa, Lakeside, Lemon Grove, Linda Vista, Mira Mesa, Miramar, Mission Valley, National City, Ocean Beach, Oceanside, Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Poway, Rancho San Diego, Rancho Santa Fe, Rancho Bernardo, San Marcos, Santaluz, Santee, Solana Beach, Spring Valley, Tierrasanta, University City, University Heights, and Vista!  There is a travel fee if located more than thirty minutes from our base location in Poway.  We will also travel out of San Diego for an additional travel fee. These costs are to be paid up front and will be clearly specified prior to the event.


Substance use: Please do not smoke, consume alcohol, or abuse any other substance while we are attending your event. We work very hard to keep our dresses clean and presentable and appreciate your cooperation.

Pets/Animals: Please kennel or otherwise restrain any and all animals during the event. This will allow our performers to focus on providing your son/daughter the best possible experience while protecting them and their costumes from harm.  Failure to comply will result in the performer leaving with full compensation.  Pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets to the performers’ costumes.


Weather Conditions: To protect against inclement weather, indoor events are strongly recommended.  For the sake of our performers' safety and the incredible high quality of our costumes and wigs, we reserve the right not to perform outdoors when temperatures drop below 65F or exceed 85F. In the case of inclement weather (extreme heat/cold, rain, hail, etc…) the client will be responsible of finding a suitable indoor venue, otherwise the event will be rescheduled. If no reschedule date can be agreed upon, this contract shall become null and void, all deposit and balance payments shall be refunded in full, and both parties shall have no further legal recourse against each other.


Photos: We love sharing magical moments created between our princesses and your children on our social pages!  Please let us know if you do not wish us to post any pictures of your child.


Other Entertainment: When you book with Castle & Co. Entertainment, please let us know if you will be having some other type of entertainment at your event. This helps our characters know what to expect so they can ensure the best performance. Character integrity is very important to us, so we require notice of any type of other character entertainment that will be attending the event.


Copyright: It is not the intention of Castle & Co. Entertainment to violate any copyright laws. All of our characters are generic storybook characters.

Entertainment characters are generic and we can only accept bookings from individuals who are aware that we DO NOT represent any licensed character. If you are requiring a licensed, copyrighted character for your event, you should contact the company/copyright holders.
